I’ve already declared my love for The Pioneer Woman and all the cattle-ranchy goodness that she shares on her blog.  But she’s even better known for her recipes.  Almost without fail, they’re down home, approachable, and totally yummy.  Her Spicy Dr. Pepper Shredded Pork is no exception.

If you want your pork a little less sweet, swap out one can of Dr. Pepper for some chicken or beef broth.  I’m a total spice weenie so I opt for a half can (or less) of the peppers, and I definitely make this in my crockpot. Ain’t nobody got time for an oven being on for 6 hours.  Really.
