We took our photo crew up to Inwood, IA, this week to get some photos and video of sows using our Freedom Stall. I’m always impressed with their enthusiasm and creativity while shooting inside a barn. It’s a messy, noisy environment, not to mention smelly!

This was my first time in a group housing sow barn, and it was fun to learn about this style of raising hogs right along with the photographers. The sows were huge! They were pretty calm and didn’t seem bothered by us (way less curious about the cameras than finisher hogs) but I sure wouldn’t want to get in between a sow and her dinner!

We got to pop into the farrowing house to see the babies – my favorite! The photographers liked the little guys, too.

Thanks for all the hard work, Jordan Green Productions!
